Now approaching its centenary Northamptonshire County Golf
Club is one of the best, and most well known, courses in the Midlands. The course was commissioned following an inaugural meeting at the Northampton County Hall on January 14th. 1909, and a mere 15 months later, was first played on April 14th. 1910.
With a challenging
Harry S Colt designed course and a welcoming club house Northamptonshire County Golf Club is
a delight to visit and play. It is renowned for its friendly and relaxing atmosphere.
A traditional and mature inland golf course with a unique mix of heathland and parkland characteristics, the course offers 21 holes
of golf in a spectacular setting.
The course is a regular venue for local, regional and national competitions and from 1997 until 2002 hosted the regional qualifier for the Open Championship.
In
May 2007 the prestigious PGA Senior Professional Championship was held at the Northamptonshire County course and this event will be returning again in May 2008.
Our green staff take every care in preparing the course in
the finest possible condition and our house staff are devoted to providing a clubhouse atmosphere second
to none.
Please
