The tenth hole has one of the most difficult, and fast running, greens on the course; its not unusual in the height of summer for players to putt off this green. Putting the ball from the wrong place on the green can make 2 putts almost impossible when the greens are fast, so place your approach shot carefully. Your tee shot will need to be left half of the fairway if you are to remain on it, as the fairway can be fast running left to right. A new fairway bunker has been placed on the upslope of the 'valley' on the right hand side at approx. 280 yards from the back tee. Take a good look where the flag is on the green before you walk into the valley that crosses this fairway as you will see nothing from the bottom

This right hand dogleg puts the emphasis on your approach shot to the green. The forest behind the green and the railway to the right are both out of bounds, with a bunker left and one in front your distance needs to be spot on as the wind swirls around in this corner of the course. This is another hole which was lengthened in 2007, with a new back tee restoring the hole as a tough long par 4. The new tee is located adjacent to the railway and on the same line as the other men's tees.

The shortest hole on the course is not always the easiest. Miss this green and you will struggle to make par, bunkers, hollows and rough uneven ground surround the green. Check the yardage carefully on this hole as it can be 3 clubs different from front to back.
