Society Days & Corporate Events

Even with all the demands on our course, Northamptonshire County Golf Club are still able to offer some dates for societies and corporate days. Although availability is strictly limited, as a guide on Wednesday a minimum of 24 are accepted and on Thursdays a maximum of 24 can play.
Northamptonshire County Golf Club does not offer fixed price packages for Golf Days, Society Events or Visiting Groups as we believe that these should be tailored to suit individual needs. Our price lists for Golf, Cuisine and Wine can be viewed by following the links below.

Early booking is essential to guarantee availability.

Society Hosting
For visiting parties of 16 or more the club will provide a Host to greet and assist the guests – this is at no additional cost. The Host will give an introduction to the club and its facilities and will act as starter. On the tee he will also give each group an informal briefing on the format for the day, longest drive, nearest the pin, local rules, course conditions etc.

Corporate Days
Entertaining customers is an important part of business today.
The Pro shop and its Professionals have a great deal of experience in organising golf days - from invitations, organising prize tables to score recording and prize giving. This service often removes the strain of organising an event and ensures everything runs smoothly on the day, especially if the organisers are playing in the event.

Golf Clinics
With a driving range,short game area and practise ground its a great place for lessons and improving your game. We have 3 Teaching Professionals.
Head Professional Tim Rouse AFPGA is a Northamptonshire County coach, and a coach to European Tour players, Club Pros, and leading Amateurs as well as club golfers.
Nick Soto has a wealth of competitive experience, is a qualified PGA Level 2 Coach and specialises in Junior coaching and club golfers.
Assistant Professional Ed Chapman is an enthusiastic and motivated coach who enjoys coaching all standards of players. He completed his PGA Level 2 Coaching Course in the Summer of 2007 and and says he is really looking forward to increasing his knowledge of the golf swing in the coming months. Ed also holds a National Diploma in Sports Science specialising in Biomechanics and Nutrition.

Many products can be personalised or logo-ed for your event - brochures and a price list are available on request.

Conditions of Play

1. Handicaps certificate should be available if requested.
2. A dress code is in operation, both in the clubhouse and on the course. Gentleman are reminded that in the Dining Room smart casual dress is acceptable except for Sunday luncheon and for events where the organiser specifies jacket and tie or dinner suit. If wearing shorts, long socks must be worn on the course. Sweatshirts, rugby / football shirts, jeans or other unconventional and inappropriate styles of dress are unacceptable at any time, either in the Clubhouse or on the Course. See the Dress Code.
3. All societies must play at an acceptable speed.
4. All players must repair divots and pitch marks, rake all bunkers. All trolleys must be kept clear of the greens
